My students with disabilities require hands on learning tools to aid them in being successful in the classroom. They have various disabilities in addition to being unserved in an urban setting. It is crucial to create an environment that is supportive to their learning styles and use of computers are a proven component in this area. As the Transition Coordinator I am required to work with students to explore career paths and create plans for their future. All of this work is done online. This year has proven to be very difficult because of the lack of access to these detrimental tools.
