While there are a variety of elective courses intended to enrich the students in their educational experience, sixth grade students who do not have interest in band, sports, or arts are limited in choices. I am proposing to extend 6th grade elective courses at my campus by increasing college and career awareness through technology access.

Funds obtained from this project will be utilized to share mobile devices used within the classroom for collaborative projects that train students on how to investigate careers. Students meeting specific needs criteria will be selected to check in and check out technology devices that support career / college readiness and academic enrichment projects.
