The purpose of trying to raise money for my school is to be able to acquire supplies for my STEM/STEAM classes. We are a rural school that does not have the funds that other bigger districts have to obtain supplies. However, our students are still filtered into the bigger districts. Our goal is to keep up and expose the kids to real world experiences which includes enhancement and hands-on activities that includes science, technology, engineering, art, and math. My goal is to be able to raise money to buy items that will supply the students with kits and items that fall under these topics. For example, I would like to purchase some mini Sphero's, robotic kits, circuit boards, 3d printer, and just some everyday supplies for them to build items. The audience to whom I am doing my classes are 5th through 8th grade. It is so fun to see their excitement when they design a prototype and collaboratively work on team building skills. Again, being from a small district funds are minimal so to make these classes a real world experience, I need supplies. Any amount of money would help. Thank you!
