Our 5th & 6th grade students are in desperate need of technology within the classroom! We are looking to raise funds to purchase Chromebooks for our classrooms so that our students would able to utilize a plethora of new resources while learning, staying engaged, and being creatively challenged. By giving each student a Chromebook to utilize during science, reading/ELA, math, and social studies, an entirely new world would be opened up to them. They wouldn't have to fight over a computer to help with homework, share a tablet when attempting to keep them engaged during an interactive lesson, or wait their turn to explore exciting articles or videos. These Chromebooks would be a game changer in our classrooms because they would give our students more access to up-to-date curriculum and keep them engaged with all the possible interactives available to them through modern technology.
