Times have changed and so has kindergarten! While I am a firm believer that technology should never replace a good teacher, I do believe that computers can play an important role in the classroom. Including technology as a part of classroom activities can motivate students and allow them to learn and share their understanding in a variety of ways while refining students early reading readiness, spelling, grammer, math, problem solving, science and social studies skills. My fundraiser is to gain more resources for my classroom and my 5 year old friends born into this tech crazy world.

Why I Teach: I teach because I love seeing the potential of the kids in my class and having the task of how I am going to help my students reach thier goals. I love the funny things that happen with my kids and how they keep me young! I enjoy how everyday is different and how no matter how well you plan, the kids are ultimately in control of the day. It is amazing each one of your relationships' is different and special in it's own unique way. In the end, you have a few months to share your knowledge and everything you feel they need to know, to continue on in school, in order for them to have the most successful future.
