I work in a rural, school library where my students have limited use of technology. I would like to create a 21st century school library to broaden the experiences of my students and equip them to be 21st century citizens.

One part of this overall plan is to provide access to a mobile catalog experience similar to the shopping experiences adults have with smart phones. This would require 4 iPad minis with covers. Students would then be able to walk through the shelves while browsing the online catalog to look up books. The iPad minis would provide them the opportunity to use the QR codes placed on books to view book trailers, visit the authors websites, or read book reviews.
