My students need real-world science experience. This fundraiser is to help my students have an opportunity for that. The wishes on the wishlist are devoted to getting a class set of digital cameras and video camera for my students to use to take pictures and videos for observational data collection. I also want them to use them to create visual models of science concepts and learn to communicate scientific ideas and conclusions through using digital media. My students come from a high-poverty background, and this project will help open them up to the world of real science.
