Our High School music faculty currently teach classes in orchestra, band, chorus, honors performing groups, music theory and AP music theory. This is an outstanding and dedicated staff, and we have extraordinary young musicians who consistently perform at all county and all state festivals, and many who continue to study music in college. One thing we do not have is a music tech lab where students can continue their musical training in the most current programs. Keyboard class, Podcasting, audio production, engineering, and composing are just a few of the opportunities available if we can secure funding for a Mac lab. In addition, this type of course is a perfect setting for at risk and special needs students to work independently and be successful.
