Madie Ives K-8 Preparatory Academy
Class Information:
Students per Class: 200
Class Description:
For the last 6 years, I have taught Civics at a K-8 school with students from low socioeconomic families. There is a lot of love and support but many of our families have limited resources. In Florida, students must take a standardized Civics exam at the end of the year. It is worth 30% of their overall grade. This is difficult for many students because the Civics Exam requires students to read excerpts from actual historical documents. I would like to help my students by using technology and devices to digest some of the difficult but important excerpts from the Constitution.
