Class Description:
This is a unique classroom that differs from many traditional classrooms. The Academic Resource Center is a room dedicated to students that are not on academic support plans. Although students that are on support plans such as 504's access this resource, it is to help the student population of Woodstock Union High School with any of there academic needs. Therefore, this room is dedicated to supporting all academic classes such as Algebra, Geometry, Chemistry, US History, American Literature,etc. It is the resource for all students to accesses for the entire school.

Needs:
This room is need desperate need of upgrades to keep up with current technology. We have seven desktops that run on Windows XP with no other form of technology for the students. The printer in the room works on occasion and my lab top computer over heats everyday. The goal is to replace all current computers with need updated computers and get Ipads for the students to use. Ipad allows access to educational apps that will help students that need improvement with reading,writing and math skills. Lastly, replacing the printer.

Every child deserves the opportunity to be successful. I teach to help children become the successful individuals that they are capable of becoming.
