Needs: Always in need of technology and ideas to incorporate active engagement and hands-on that relates to real-life experiences
My Philosophy:
Working in a rural school in southwest Iowa many students do not have access to technology at home, this is something I would like to make possible at school. I would like to give students the opportunity to use technology to answer questions, solve problems, and document work. I believe that every student has a right to access and become confident with technology.

Northwest Missouri State University- Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and minor in Early Childhood
Activities:
I love to be outdoors with my husband and our two lab dogs. We are very close with both of our families and enjoy spending lots of time with them. Other than being a teacher, I am an aunt to the best niece and nephew ever! I love spending time with them whenever I have the chance.

Employment History:
I subbed for a year at surrounding school districts and then I started working at Inman Primary. I have been here for three years and love it!
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I want to make a difference in childrens lives and to make them a successful member of our society. I live for those moments when the children get the look of "AH HA! I've got it!"
