Class Description:
We are a self contained classroom with a center and tactile approach to learning.
Position:
Teacher
Needs:
We would like to have a classroom set of digital cameras for digital storytelling. The class will write and produce an "ABC Book of Sunshine". I would also like to have a document reader to use with our smart board technologies for reading lessons and demonstrations that cannot be done with just the computer.
My Philosophy:
Every child can learn. I have some handicapped children who cannot read, but have learned many things through hands- on learning activities.

About Me:
I am now completing my 25th year of teaching. I enjoy using all types of media and materials to teach reading through personal experiences.
College and Degrees:
I have a BS degree is Early Childhood Ed. I am also certified in Science, Language Arts and Reading. I received my National Board Certification in 2007.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach so that children may fulfill their dreams.
