I teach a first grade class loaded with boys! In my school, we switch classes for reading and in my reading class, I have 25 students. I teach the high readers, which has many exciting challenges.

I am 37, a mom of two, a wife, a teacher, a friend, and an all around busy girl! I love being with my family and relaxing at home.

BSEd in Elementary Education from Athens State University MSEd in Elementary Education from University of West Alabama
Interests:
I love reading and playing on the computer. I love researching online, it is one of my favorite hobbies.
Employment History:
I have taught at Fairfax Elementary for 5 years. Before that, I was a stay at home mom.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I love learning! What better way is there to learn than through seeing issues and ideas through the eyes of first graders?! They amaze me daily and it is an honor to be with them everyday!
