Class Description:
I teach computer lab class and I see every student every week at least once sometimes twice. I love being able to share with the students the joy of technology. We are learning keyboarding, powerpoint, hardware robotics, web design, video production and digital photography. We are in need of equipment for our students to be able to learn how to create products.

Needs:
We need computer keyboarding software, digital cameras use, video cameras, wireless microphones, digital recorders, etc. for the computer labs. Each year we encourage students to participate in the Alabama Council for Technology in Education computer competition. They may enter in the areas of multimedia, general applications, hardware robotics, digital photography, web design, and information literacy.
My Philosophy:
We must prepare the students of today to be the leaders of tomorrow!

About Me:
I have been in education for 20 years. I am currently teaching computer. I am the school technology coordinator. I love technology and want to prepare our students to be the leaders of tomorrow.
College and Degrees:
Associates Degree-Music Education from Bevil State Bachelors Degrees-Early Childhood and Elementary Education from the University of Alabama Masters Degree in Library Media from the University of West Alabama
Activities:
I enjoy searching the web. I play the piano, organ and all band instruments. I love to sing also. I enjoy working with students in the afternoons in the area of technology.

Why Do I Teach?:
I love the look on a child's face when they learn something new. I want to employ them with the knowledge to be lifelong productive citizens. With our world moving so much in the technological field I feel it is important for them to gain the skills needed in this area.
