Class Description:
My class this year is buzzing with energy. They love anything that lets them learn hands on and take control of the classroom and their learning. They get very excited about technology and learning with it.

Needs:
I would love to have technology available for all students all day. It makes learning easier for my kids and teaching easier for me! It is a win win!
My Philosophy:
I think all kids need to be taught differently, to learn in whatever method they learn best in.

About Me:
My name is Kristina Hansen. This is my second year teaching and my first year at Sequoyah. I love teaching, it truely is my passion. I am high energy all day just like my students.
College and Degrees:
I got my bachelors degree from Oakland University.
Activities:
In my spare time I love to read, travel, and relax with friends.
Favorite Books:
Oh there are so many!!! I have so many favorite books that I read when I was a kid and now as an adult. As a kid I loved anything that Ann M. Martain wrote, especially the Baby Sitters Club series. Now as an adult I like to read Mitch Albums books, teaching resources, and any book that I can find time to read and get caught up in.
Employment History:
I have worked at the Country Inn of Macomb for the last 9 years as a waitress. Country Inn is a small family resturant in Macomb township. I taught my first year at a charter school in Highland Park, and now I am at Sequoyah Elementary, a Chippewa Valley School.
