Class Description:
Our program is the first International Baccalaureate "IB" Elementary School in Hillsborough County Florida. I teach grade 3 all curriculum areas.

Needs:
We complete many online programs with other schools throughout the country and internationally. We write and publish books for children in Uganda who are learning the English language. In order to accomplish our technology interests we need: a video camera with memory a laptop computer with microphone and camera
My Philosophy:
I believe students should be encouraged to inquire and learn cooperatively within a nurturing environment. The "IB" philosophy of my school and classroom encompasses many hands on, authentic activities that teach about the world. Our pen pals in Illinois are great friends to share our knowledge with. In working with schools throughout the country and world my students become aware of world issues effecting students around the world - making them global thinkers and citizens.
