Class Description:
I have a very diverse group of eleven boys and eleven girls. The background of my class is as follows: 6-(Hispanic)English as Second Language Learners 2-Studentswith Autism (Special Needs) 5-Studentsthat are White 7-Studentsthat are Black 2-Studentsthat are Multi-Race My students also represents a large variety of learners. Some of my students learn with a lot of visual cues. I have some students that have to hear the explanation to learn the material. I have students that need to have objects to have an hands on experience.

Needs:
I need resources that will help my students to become better at reading and math. We need lots of technology to enhance the learning of our experience. I use technology to offer my students experiences that without technology, the students may not have access to them.
My Philosophy:
My philosophy is that all students can learn. I believe that as educators we have to supply students with the resources and the knowledge to make them successful.

About Me:
This is my fourth year of teaching. I have been teaching 1st grade at South Lexington all of that time. I am currently completing a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I went back to school to enhance my learning, so that my students would benefit from a better teacher.
