Class Description:
Most of my students are from families that are economically disadvantaged. All my students are minorities, about 60 % hispanic & 40 percent african American. 10% of my students are "Gifted." My class is a gifted cluster classroom.

My Philosophy:
Learning should be equal for all our students know matter where we live or how much money our parents make for a living. What we teach and how our students learn should make learning an exciting adventure.

About Me:
I've been teaching 30 + years and still love going to school everyday. I love mentoring new teachers and Teach for America interns. I am married 37 years and have 2 daughters. My youngest daughter is also a teacher.

I love to learn and always want my students to have that same love of learning. I love to see the look in my students eyes when they "get it".
