Class Description:
We have a wonderful group of special needs students ranging in grade level from k-6 grade. There is a diversity of disabilities in our classroom including Autism and Downs Syndrome.
Position:
Teacher Assistant in Special Education Classroom
Needs:
Our students have many disbilities. The students learn from hands on experiences and trips. We use a lot of technology with the students in our room. Computers is our most popular center, but the students have a hard time using some of the hardware and software. Our students love to have their picture taken and love to take photos but we currently only have one camera for the whole EC department to use.
My Philosophy:
God created all children special and all children are special and deserve the right to learn all they can in the classroom regardless of their disability.

About Me:
I have been working with children for 16 years now. I am currently employed as a Teachers Assistant but I am attending college to get my Teaching degree. I love working with Special Education students and watching them learn and grow.
