Class Description:
These students can't be in regular classrooms all the time as then need specialized help to either catch up in school work, help understanding the material, or need a teacher to help keep track of their work.
Position:
ALE Supervisor/Teacher
Needs:
We just got into the classroom we have and need new desks to fascilitate it to being a open classroom with different items for different kids to learn in different ways. We needs tables, chairs, a dinner table to work and relax with, couches to read on and do work from.
My Philosophy:
My personal philosophy is to meet the child where they are and bring them up. Each child is unique and their needs are unique. I treat them as an individual and each one has a different goal we want to reach.

About Me:
I am a fifth year teacher. I have taught four years in Social Studies and this is my first year in the Alternative Learning Environment.
College and Degrees:
I have my masters from the University of Arkansas in Secondary Education Social Studies.

I have worked in a rural poor school district, two charter schools, and now the school I work at is rural poor with kids who love and want to learn.
Why Do I Teach?:
I am the Alternative Learning Environment Teacher for 14 students who have different reasons for being in the program overall.
