Class Description:
I have a fun, technology driven computer lab classroom! I strive to help the kids use the technology at their fingertips to enhance their everyday learning experience.

My Philosophy:
I beleive that kids learn best through play and hands on involvement to become an important part of their own "community" in the classroom. I strive to meet my students on their level and help them to feel like a valued part of our group in our ever changing digital world.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I am a crafty, mother of two smart, creative kids. My husband and I have been married for 16 years and I have spent the last 10 years working with children, and the last 6 working for the Piedmont School District.
College and Degrees:
I attended both Southwestern OK State University and Texas Christian University.
Activities:
I love to create and re-do furniture. I LOVE bulletin boards and the world in the eyes of my kids!
Favorite Books:
Redeeming Love, Percy Jackson series, Twilight series, anything by Nicholas Sparks...basicallyI just love to read!

I have done a little bit of everything! Had to explore the world to know what I wanted to be when I grow up!
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I love seeing the world through the eyes of my students! As grown-ups, I think we sometime forget about the small wonders of the world and the kids help me learn to look at things from their perspective!
