Class Description:
There are about two classes for each grade level and I see all of the students in the library media center once a week.
Position:
Library Media Specialist
Needs:
We have a diverse group of students with many different learning needs. We have a large special education population as well as a gifted program.
My Philosophy:
I live my life by my school mission that my goal is to inspire life long learners and readers. I live my own life by that mission and continue to learn and grow along with my students.

About Me:
I am a new LMS at Cumberland Elementary but I have been a librarian in Chicago Public Schools for three years.
College and Degrees:
Loyola B.A. Dominican M.L.I.S.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach technology and library skills because I love literacy in its many forms. I love discussing books with students, When a student tells me they read a book that they might not have picked up on their own, I know I have done my job well.
