Class Description:
Since I'm the Media Specialist, all of the students are considered my students. After all, I see them all multiple times during the course of the year.
Position:
Media Specialist
Needs:
This is my first year as the Media Specialist. After analyzing the library's collection and realizing it has an average age of 1986, I realize it needs to be updated. Although, I can purchase new books, I also need equipment. Our booktrucks are old and have difficulty moving around the library, so we need new ones. Our video equipment is old and huge; we need smaller cameras, so students and teachers can use them without fear of damage to themselves or the equipment.
My Philosophy:
Every student enjoys reading - sometimes they just haven't found what they like yet. Also, every student needs to have easy access to technology, like the Flip video cameras.
