Class Description:
Students rotate in and out all year based on needs of students, need for data collection on special education students or RTI students. The program is self paced and designed to meet the needs of individual learners to help them close gaps in their knowledge base.

Needs:
I need to replace the 13 year old computers with up-to-date computers. I can get a replacement Dell desktop for around $400 since I do not need Microsoft Office for the iLearn:Math program
My Philosophy:
I believe every student should be encouraged to learn to the best of their ability. I also know students are not cut out with cookie cutters, and they learn at their own pace. Sometimes that may be slower than the class is progressing. I want to be able to give them the tools to be successful in their math classes.

About Me:
I am married and the mother of two girls, ages 23 and 20.
College and Degrees:
I have a B.S. degree in Middle School Education from Berry College in Rome, GA. I am certified in Math, Science, Social Studies, ELA, and Reading for Middle Grades. I am also certified in 6-12 English, which allowed me to teach high school English for three years.

Why Do I Teach?:
I love knowledge of all kinds. I want to help kids learn about the world around them and how wonderful it is. I love to see the light come on when they finally understand, or the look of satisfaction when they do something well.
