My Philosophy:
I feel technology is a necessity in today's classroom not just a want. Young children are digital natives who already use technology as a part of their everyday lives. It only makes sense that the classroom should utilize technology to increase student achievement and expand their world. In an age where class sizes are getting bigger and students are needing more from teachers than mere instruction, technology can be that extra teacher in the room as well as that support to reach the at risk learner. Teachers need the proper professional development to help fuse the curriculum with the best available technology.
