Class Description:
I am the computer teacher at my school. We have 28 computers in the lab. We are a K-6 school in a low to middle income community. We are a small community that has experienced a rapid change in demographics over the past 30 years. We do have computers with internet, but our technology has not seen growth as it has in other communities around us.
Position:

Needs:
We would like to have a video camera and a digital camera, computer software, networkable laser printers, and a color laser printer.
My Philosophy:
I believe that each child should have access to and instruction in technology so that they can work and compete in our global society.

About Me:
Hello, I am a technology teacher at a K-6 elementary school. I have been the tech teacher at my school for six years. I was offered the job as Technology Teacher because of my experience not because of my schooling. Two years ago, I decided to go back to school and finish my 30 year old bachelor degree. I am an excellent student who looks to graduate in 2009. I started working with technology in 1990, was one of AOLs first customers, helped to network five schools(that was before the work had to contracted out), keep current with new technology, and own a MAC and a PC laptop.
