Class Description:
I teach a reading intervention class for students reading two or more levels below. The students are grouped according to similar reading levels. We have a small group session; an independent session and a whole group session. The class last one hour.

Needs:
I need ipads to assist me during my small group sessions. Technology assists me with those students that are difficult to motivate.
My Philosophy:
My philosophy of teaching is all students can learn. I have to meet the students where they are. My job is to help them develop a love of reading to help them get to the next level. I also like to make it fun and meaningful.

Why Do I Teach?:
I became a teacher because of the positive impact several teachers had on me. I love the way a child looks when he has that "ah ha" moment. I enjoy exposing my students to different types of technology and how they can use it in their learning.
