Class Description:
My classes range from students who struggle in basic English classes to advanced language classes. I teach both Spanish and English, so the digital flip cameras will be utilized across the curriculum.
Position:
HS English/Spanish
Needs:
I need these cameras because I am trying to get students to open up and speak freely in their Spanish Classes. By utilizing technology I hope to increase their level of ability in foreign language. I want students to not only memorize vocabulary, but be fluent speakers of Spanish. Spanish speaking skills are a "must-have" twenty-first century skill, and I believe that the more opportunity kids get to practice the language in a more "hands-on" method; the eaiser it will be for them to store Spanish speaking skills in their long-term memory.
