Class Description:
My classes are filled with students who have been removed from their regular campuses, and are placed in an alternative setting for behavioral targeted goals and fullfill legally required isolation.

My students need captivating technology and lessons in order to engage them in a way that shows them the fun of learning, and support and promotes their successes.
My Philosophy:
I believe my students need the smaller group learning environment and should get more attention, and assistance in promoting the intrinsic value of learning.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I am former military (USAF) and was a detention officer. I became a teacher so I could serve the students and be a mentor to them before they were locked up in a juvenile detention facility. I've been teaching for 6 years and am truly attempting to embrace technology to prepare my students for college or career.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach to and for the students the are "left behind." They are the nation's most neglected and fastest growing category of students. I want to work my hardest to reach this population and make the differences that requires so much to make change in their own thinking.
