My classes are filled with students who have been removed from their regular campuses, and are placed in an alternative setting for behavioral targeted goals and fullfill legally required isolation.

About Me:
I am former military (USAF) and was a detention officer. I became a teacher so I could serve the students and be a mentor to them before they were locked up in a juvenile detention facility. I've been teaching for 6 years and am truly attempting to embrace technology to prepare my students for college or career.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach to and for the students the are "left behind." They are the nation's most neglected and fastest growing category of students. I want to work my hardest to reach this population and make the differences that requires so much to make change in their own thinking.
