As part of my classroom, each student will feel empowered and respected as learner.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I have been a certified special education and English teacher for the past 17 years. I love reaching students and motivating them to achieve. My passion for educating students lead me to incorporate technology and start a virtual classroom environment that promotes student-centered learning. Technology is one of the most important tools in education. Instructional, educational, and assistive technology is major key to closing the learning gap, enhancing learning, simplifying instructional tasks, obtaining data to improve and design effective practices. I have completed two degrees in educational and instructional technology. I have worked as an independent consultant for over six years training teachers and administrators. I developed the technology based gifted and talented program for a local school district, conducted district wide professional development day, and wrote a district technology plan in coordination with the district tech team.
