Class Information:
Room Number: 809
Students per Class: 107
Class Description:
I teach 3 levels of mathematics--Math8 Inclusion, Algebra 1 Honors, and Geometry Accelerated.
Position:
Math Teacher Leader
Needs:
Since I am not at a school which receives much extra funding, I do not have access to as much technology as I would like. The students in my classes would benefit from more computers, more interactive tools, more technology at their fingertips.
My Philosophy:
If I can help one child be successful, then I have done my job. Each day, I strive to be the person that my students will think back to years from now and say, "Mrs. Blosser made a difference in my life."
Personal Information:
College and Degrees:
SUNY Geneseo--BA. Mathematics with a certificate in Secondary Education CoastalCarolina University--M. Ed. Secondary Education Mathematics
Why Do I Teach?:
The reason I chose to become a teacher is because I want to be a positive role model for children. I chose to teach mathematics because all too often we hear "I'm not good at math." I want ALL students to learn to persevere through a difficult subject. I strive to help all of my students realize that they are "good" at math. If I can impact one child's life in a positive way, then I have achieved my goal.
