Class Description:
I am a middle grades cience teacher who sees all the 7th and 8th graders in my building. We are extremely fortunate to be in the only science lab in the building. We have ultimate storage making it the ultimate warehouse for anything science-related.

Needs:
We need a SMART board and projector system in our class as well as a Flip Video camera as we are ready to compete in a 21st century world despite the challenges we face. We are totally willing AND able to fully integrate technology into our classroom learning, whether it be through engaging videos, interactive displays, sharing of data, or manipulating experiments in a technologically-drivenclassroom environment!
My Philosophy:
Every child is fully capable of succeeding. With the right tools, good teachers can make this challenge a reality. Simple as that.

I am orginally from the East Coast and moved to Chicago nearly eight years ago. I have taught in both private and public school, and formal and informal education. I LOVE what I do.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teacher because everyday I learn something new. I problem solve with my students and we grow immensely from day one together. It's the most rewarding thing I've done in my life to date.
