Needs:
Laptop computers-9 would be awesome. Mine are the old ones that were handed down from the laptop carts once new ones were obtained in our media center. I would love to win the touch screen laptop in order for my student's to be able to use it to clock in and out of work. I think this would be a great life skill that they will be faced with one day in a real job.
My Philosophy:
All they need is love!

About Me:
I have taught the Occupational Course of Study program in the exceptional children's department for 15 years. Once the high school I was at split into two schools, I came to the new high school to get the Occupational Course of Study program started here as well. I have been married for 10 years and I have one son who is 8.

Bachelor's in Special Education K-12 and Music Education K-12
Activities:
I enjoy spending as much time with my family as I can. I can wakeboard but not snowboard. I enjoy riding bikes with my son and shopping.
Employment History:
Burke County Public Schools for the last 15 years!
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach in the exceptional children's department in a self-contained setting. I teach because I remember as a student in high school how it felt to not always understand how to do things and needing extra help, but was afraid to ask. I love the kids I teach. I have the best kids in the school, even though several have behavior issues.
