Class Description:
In my room I am the High School Emotional Support Teacher. I teach any subjects that my students need to be taught. I work with students in Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Algebra II, Geometry, Career Math,Chemistry, Biology, General Science, English 9,10,11,12, World Cultures, American Government, Economics, Sociology, Assist Studyhalls and Decision Making Class.

I would like to have two digital cameras for my students to use for different school projects including senior projects.
My Philosophy:
It is my mission as an educator, to provide an educational setting for my students that is safe and fun for learning. Each individual is unique in his or her own way. All opinions are welcomed. Communication is key to a successful education. This includes the students, their families, administration, other staff, and myself. It is my goal to challenge all students to develop and achieve personal growth, and to gain the knowledge to become a responsible, contributing citizen in a diversified world.

About Me:
I have been teaching for five years. I have taught first grade, emotional support in the middle school, and in the high school. I am married and have a daughter who is 17 months old. I also have two dogs (a golden retreiver and a redbone coon hound).
College and Degrees:
I attended Gannon University for a BS in Elementary and Special Education. I then added Secondary science to my teaching certificate. I am highly qualified to teach Secondary Math, English, and Social Studies. I also received my MED from Gannon University.
Activities:
I am also have been a volunteer firefighter for the past 11 years. I currently hold the position of Safety Officier. I am also in charge of my county's fire prevention education program.

I teach to prepare the next generation to be the best that they can be. I also enjoy seeing individuals becoming successful in their accademics.
