My class is full of eager learners who are talented, smart, and capable . . . my goal is to get them to see themselves the way that I see them. My students are very important to me and to the community we build int he classroom.
Position:
Teacher
My Philosophy:
My philosophy is that students need ample opportunities to seek out and access lots of different types of information. I want my students to be critical thinkers, to challenge themselves and to challenge others, and to think about the impact they can make in the world. I believe in provided as many hand on and collaborative learning experiences as possible. I also believe in building a supportive community within the classroom. I also believe that in order to be successful, partnerships needs to be made with students, teachers, parents, and community members.

Why Do I Teach?:
I have always believed in the power of young people. Helping students to realize and reach their potentials is what I was born to do. I see each day as an opportunity to change lives, as cliche as that sounds.
