Class Description:
Our school now has 3 self-contained ASD (autism spectrum disorder) classrooms on our campus. The children in these classrooms present with many challenges and needs. The model for each room is 7 children and 3 adults.
Position:
Behavior Specialist
Needs:
We are in need of digital video cameras (4) that can be used by each classroom teacher and behavior specialist for video modeling. Video modeling is a research based intervention technique used to facilitate the acquisition of social skills, independent functioning skills, and play skills of children with autism.
