Class Description:
I have a very diverse group of students. I had the opportunity to loop up to second grade with a large number of my students from last year. They are bright, energetic, and READY to learn new things everyday.

Needs:
We are trying to get 2 laptops, headphones, a splitter that will allow at least three students to hook up, and a boombox. We received over 25 books on CD/DVD last year as a gift, however, we do not have a laptop, boombox or headphones for the students to utilize them.
My Philosophy:
Not all children learn the same way, therefore I really believe that audio books on CD/DVD can help children learn to read, as well as focus on the story. CD/DVD books also give the students ample opportunities to play it back again, so they can hear it or see it multiple times.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I make a difference. When you see the light in a child's face, when they finally understand a concept or skill, NOTHING can replace that. I LOVE MY JOB!!
