Marketing education is designed to prepare secondary students to conduct the critical business functions associated with directing the flow of products and services from the producer to the consumer. A fundamental understanding of the marketing concept and basic marketing skills are essential not only to students entering the field of marketing but for everyone entering the workforce. Marketing education courses provide students with knowledge and skills that are highly transferable and will last a lifetime.
I teach them the fundamentals via lecture and role playing and then have them do hands on projects to incorporate what was taught.
I teach them how to create marketing presentations both visually and orally and how to present in front of an audience.

The students need technology. We need a camcorder so that the students can see how they peform and critique and learn from it.
We need computers/laptopsin order to incorporate technology in the program. At the moment we have 10 old computers which is not enough for everyone.

If I give the students the opportunity to succeed by teaching them skills that will last a lifetime, I know that I have done my job.
