Promethean Board with laptop and projector set up, classroom set of iPads, at least 3-5 digital cameras, iTunes/iBooks gift cards for digital book downloads to use for classroom set of novels
My Philosophy:
I feel that the students will be more engaged in the classroom with technology in their hands. No longer are they restricted to the classroom set of novels that they can't make a mark in, now they can use the digital technology to make notes in the books, look up words and highlight areas they are interested in the novels. I also feel the technology will give Literature teachers a way to connect with other subject areas. Teaching across the curriculum becomes easier when you can place a digital interactive book of the solar system in the hands of a readers.

About Me:
I am a teacher at Sevierville Middle School. I teach 7th Grade. I have taught Math and Literature. I am currently teaching Literature.

Glenville State College - Transferred to Concord College - Bachelors Degree Carson Newman College - K-8 Multisubject Masters of Ed
Activities:
I love to read, especially youth novels or scifi-fantasy. I have a deep love for crafting, including, quilting, beading, scrapbooking and card-making. I really enjoy camping in the mountains of Tennessee. Living in the Smoky Mountains gives my family many opportunities to enjoy the outdoors
