Class Description:
Open to all but mostly 6,7 & 8. We do not have a guidance counselor so I am also a drop-in counselor when needed. Currently have 18 in class, 25 members in Student Council and over 80 in REBEL.
Position:
Resource, student council advisor, & REBEL advisor
Needs:
We need everything. We are not Abbott so we do not get the extra funds that those schools get. We are low-income though. Technology wise - we are way behind all schools.
My Philosophy:
Adolescents are the reason I get up every morning. They keep things real and help me focus on what is important. I wouldn't be doing anything else but this!

Teaching middle level kids keeps me young. Ponce de Leon should have been so lucky in his search for the Fountain of Youth - I drink from it daily.

Why Do I Teach?:
Middle school students ask the most interesting questions. Finding the answers can be difficult sometimes, but I am always learning. I teach them - they teach me. Who could ask for more?
