Geometry: Geometry provides the opportunity to develop critical thinking skills and problem solving strategies. This course also incorporates algebraic concepts learned in Algebra I. Major topics include discovering points, lines, planes, and angles, connecting reasoning and proof, perpendicular and parallel lines, congruent triangles, quadrilaterals, proportion and similarity, right triangle trigonometry, circles, polygons andarea.

Computers are needed for the advancement of creativity in learning geometric concepts. Students need real application of geometry for future engineering.
My Philosophy:
Math is a subject that must be frequently practiced in order to master new skills. Students need the ability to access math software that gives them an additional perspective other than textbook work.
