Class Description:
Frances Perkins Academy class of 2012 will be the first graduating class for this New York public school. We are in our third year, located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn our student body of almost 200 travels from all 5 boroughs to attend Frances Perkins Academy.

FLIP Camera's
My Philosophy:
We are a Big Picture Learning school, which means two days out of the week our student body attends an internship. Learning through Internship allows students to build their resume through real-world experience while earning school credit. Each student must develop a product (video, photograph, written, computer design) within NY state standards to earn school credit. Having access to FLIP camera's is an essential resource for our students to develop and complete such products. Without these resources our student body is often limited to presenting on paper, thus resulting in less knowledge of today's technological driven society.
