I conduct hands-on labs for 4 -6 grades, anatomy and physiology, physical science, biology I, biology II, AP biology. I also sponsor the national award Ecology Club. We recently won the prestigious SeaWorld Busch Garden's Environmental Excellence Award and will spend part of our prize money purchasing a dell netbook bundle so my students can take it home to work on projects.
We are in need of a flip camera for video contests and to create videos for their outreach projects. The mission of the club is to promote environmental stewardship and our love of nature.
My Philosophy:
I recently was selected as the West Tennessee Environmental Educator of the Year by the Tennessee Environmental Educators Association. I have been recognized as the three time NEED High School Teacher of the Year in Tennessee for my club's energy projects. Please help me help the young leaders of tomorrow make a difference by doing something!
