Personal Information:
About Me:
I am originally from a small town called Cochran, Georgia. (Hence, the accent.) I moved to Savannah, Georgia in June of 2005. I worked for both the CBS and the NBC local news affiliates in the production department. After my stent in television, I worked at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School as a PA and video teacher for about 5 years. Now, I am back in Central Georgia Doing what I love and working for the best youth organization in the world!
College and Degrees:
BA in Communication Arts from Georgia Southern University
Activities:
Scrapbooking, cooking, gardening, camping and attending concerts
Favorite Books:
The Freedom Writers Diary, When the Emperor Was Divine
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach FOR my students. I think that teaching the whole child is important. We may work with AV equipment, but we also learn about cooperation, accountability, and respect. Now, that I am working for an entire county, it is very imperative that we incorporate video into our lessons.
