Class Description:
I take students who are performing below grade level standards. I work with students 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes in grades K-5. I provide a review of previously taught skills and I teach the idea of concept mastery through repeated practice and progress monitoring.

Needs:
My biggest need right now is the technology. State tests and other programs are moving to a technology based future. Some of my students that I work with have little or no background knowledge when it comes to working with simple technologies like computers. I would love to have an interactive white board system in my classroom to not only get these at risk students motivated, but to also to strengthen their technology background so that they can have a successful future.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I enjoy changing the lives of students. I struggled with learning disabilities as a child and I owe my successes to the wonderful educators who understood my needs and helped me get to where I am today.
