Our classroom is a science classroom with 10 tables that each seat two students. They are arranged facing each other - in sets of two - to give us ample workspace to conduct our classroom activities and experiments, such as making ice cream, Fruit Loop atomic structures, and building earthquake proof structures.
Position:
Teacher
My Philosophy:
I teach the children that science is all around us, and to that end, try to immerse them in it. The room is decorated with colorful frogs, palm trees and posters, and they need to complete science current events reports, as well as non-fiction science book reports. I teach Halloween science where we dissect glow sticks and learn about adrenaline, Thanksgiving Science where we learn about pop-up timers, and helium balloons, and SuperBowl Science where we learn about the physics of football.
