Why I need this:
Our students are HIGH RISK/AT RISK youth that have been failing or struggling within the traditional academic setting. Many are involved with juvenile probation or children services. We teach using core curriculum with equine and animal assisted nontraditional classrooms. We literally hold class in a barn, on the side of a mountain, in the riding arena or on a roof top. One never knows what we will encounter during class because each student is on a journey of personal healing as they are learning traditional subjects. Every bit of extra protection we can give our tech devices is appreciated...every class involves horses, dogs, potbelly pigs, goats and/or dogs. Thank you |
