Class Description:
I teach 3 sections of Algebra 2 and 3 sections of Geometry.
Position:
High School Math Teacher
Needs:
Beginning with the 17/18 school year, all students at my school from grades 6-12 will have their own laptop. I want to utilize that purchasing MyMathLab through Pearson. In order to purchase it for all of my students I will need to raise about $14,500

Personal Information:
About Me:
I am beginning my 13th year of teaching. My wife is an elementary school teacher and we have 3 children ages 9, 6, and 1.
College and Degrees:
Bachelor of Science in Education with a emphasis in Mathematics. I am certified to teach mathematics in grades 5-12. I have 27 hours completed towards my Master's Degree. I earned my Bachelors from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. I am working on my Masters through UMSL as well.
Activities:
In my free time I enjoy water sports such as swimming and skiing. I also enjoy wood working. I've built some small items for our home. I also enjoy spending time with my children.
Employment History:
Prior to teaching in Elsberry I taught in Francis Howell, Wright City, and Gateway STEM High School in St. Louis. I also teach part time at St. Charles Community College.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach mathematics because I want my students to be prepared for the job market in the 21st century. Having skills in one of the STEM areas is critical to securing a successful career.
