Why I need this:
As an ELA teacher, it is vital for students to see properly modeled writing. Having this projector would allow me to enlarge texts for the student as well as allowing for me to write along WITH the students in way that they can see and that I can save (when used in coordination with my tablet PC). It will also be helpful for streaming videos in science and social studies, and will be used as a replacement for a hot, noisy overhead projector in math. The projector will be GREAT for modeling web searches, and research techniques, in addition to modeling the use of software. My students give lots of speeches in third grade, so this will also be a tool that they can use to create backdrops, PowerPoints for detail and pictures, and more! |
