Class Description:
I have a class of twenty students who are eager to learn. They are very excited to get some new technology in the classroom hopefully.
Position:
3rd Grade Teacher
Needs:
We need a SmartBoard and a document camera. We have curriculum that has SmartBoard capabilities that we are unable to use. A document camera would be a wonderful way for me to show student work samples as they are produced instead of having to take it, copy it, and them show it the next day.
My Philosophy:
I love the school I am working in. We are a close group, but we are behind the times when it comes to technology. I believe I could do so much more with my class if I had the technology. Students have so much technology at home, I think having that at school would make it more fun for students.

About Me:
I've been married for 3 years and have a 7 month old little boy.
College and Degrees:
I attended Eastern Kentucky University and graduated with my Bachelor of Science in 2002 and my Master of Arts in 2005.

Why Do I Teach?:
I love to see the look on students' faces when they have the "light bulb" moment when they learn something new. Now they are able to internalize it.
